Tip 5: (Polaris) Quick Tips for Identifying your Machine (Part 5 of 8)

As a general rule of thumb, Polaris VIN numbers will usually begin with 4X. This guide will cover Polaris ATVs, Slingshots, and UTVs.

ATVs: The Polaris ATVs will have their VIN on the Front Right. The models included, but not limited to are: The Sportsman and it's submodels and the ACE and it's submodels. 

Slingshots: The Polaris Slingshot will have the VIN on the Middle Left near the driver's knee location along the frame rail.The models included, but not limited to are: The Slingshot S, SL, and SLR.

UTVs: The Polaris UTVs will have their VIN on the Rear Left. The models included, but not limited to are: The General, Ranger, RZR, and BRUTUS.
