Tip 3: (Honda) Quick Tips for Identifying your Machine (Part 3 of 8)

As a general rule of thumb, Honda VIN numbers typically begin with JH. This guide will cover Honda ATVs, Motorcycles, and UTVs.

ATVs: The Honda ATVs will have their VIN located under the Front Left cover. The models included, but not limited to are: The TRX and FourTrax submodels. 

Motorcycles: The Honda Motorcycles will ALWAYS have their VIN on the Right Side of the steering neck. The models included, but not limited to are: The Adventure, Competition, Cruisers, Dual Sports, Sports, Supersports, Tourings, and Trails. 

UTVs: The Honda UTVs will have their VIN located on the Right Side under the bed. The models included, but not limited to are: The Pioneer models and sub-models.
