Tip 2: (Can-Am) Quick Tips for Identifying your Machine (Part 2 of 8)

As a general rule of thumb, Can-Am VIN numbers will usually begin with 3J, 2B, or RF depending on the model. This guide will cover Can-Am ATVs, Spyders, and UTVs.

ATVs: The Can-Am ATVs will have the VIN under the Seat. The models included, but not limited to are: The Outlander, Renegade, and Youth models.

Spyders: The Can-Am Spyders will have their VIN on the Left Side of the swing arm. The models included, but not limited to are: Anniversary, F3, RT Limited, Cruiser Touring, Sport Cruising, Daytona 500, Touring RT, and Limited RT-S.

 

UTVs: The Can-Am UTVs will have their VIN on the passenger side floorboard as well as the Right Side of the frame. The models included, but not limited to are: The Commander, Defender, Maverick, and Maverick X3.
