Tip 1: (Arctic Cat) Quick Tips for Identifying your Machine (Part 1 of 8)

As a general rule of thumb, Arctic Cat VIN numbers usually begin with a 4U. This guide will cover Arctic Cat ATVs and UTV models. 

ATVs: The Arctic Cat ATVs will have the VIN on the Rear Left side of the vehicle, above the fuel tank along the frame rail. The models included, but not limited to are: The Big Bore, Competition MudPro, Full-Size Alterras, Mid-Size Alterras, Sport XCs, TRVs, Utility TBXs, Youth Alterras and DVXs.



UTVs: The Arctic Cat UTVs will have their VIN on the Front Left side of the vehicle. The models included, but not limited to are: The HDX, Prowler, Wildcat, Wildcat Sport, and Wildcat Trail.
