Tip 8: (Yamaha) Quick Tips for Identifying your Machine (Part 8 of 8)

As a general rule of thumb, Yamaha VIN numbers vary from machine to machine. This guide will cover Yamaha ATVs and Motorcycles.

ATVs: The Yamaha ATVs will have their VIN on the Front Left behind the skid plate. The models included, but not limited to are: The Raptor, YFZs, Grizzly, and Kodiak models.

Motorcycles: The Yamaha Motorcycles will have their VIN on the Right Side of the steering neck. The models included, but not limited to are: The Adventure Tourings, Cruisers, Transcontinental, Motocross, Off-Road, Sport, Sport Heritage, Super Sport, and Super Sport Touring models.
